Overlooking the grand Colorado River, this American Collage program traces 250 years of American sound—restless, inventive, and unmistakably its own. Voices from across the nation’s musical roots intersect in a celebration of jazz-inflected rhythms, folk-inspired melodies, and the bold lyricism of iconic chamber works that capture the American spirit in all its contradictions. Composer-in-residence Andrew Yee’s commissioned work will also be showcased.
