ABOUT THE POSITION

The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a central role in the development and implementation of a year-round communications strategy with the goal of building our audience of music-lovers nationwide, increasing earned revenue, and inspiring first-time and repeat donations to support our mission to connect music, the landscape, and people through world-class, innovative music events and education.

We are looking for a strong project manager and relationship builder that works well with a variety of stakeholders, such as photographers, media relations, artists, and others. As part of the core team, you will be involved in the entire process surrounding the development of Moab Music Festival, from the initial strategic considerations to the implementation of new initiatives and the actual execution of all our events and both our annual Festival and Winterlude. You will work with a small team of dedicated colleagues, working closely with especially the Executive Director, Development Director and Box Office Manager to ensure both consistency of brand identity and accuracy of information across all public-facing communications.

• Development and implementation of Moab Music Festival’s overall communication strategy
• Management of the communication budget, including purchasing and booking of advertising placements across print and digital media
• Project Management for production of printed materials, including signs, posters and other visual communication
• Production of content and operation of digital platforms, including website (WordPress), social media (primarily Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook) and newsletter (via Constant Contact), including planning and execution of paid social media campaigns
• Booking and coordination with external photographers
• Development and implementation of graphic assets in collaboration with external graphic designer

LOCATION
In-person at Moab Music Festival Office. Hybrid in-person/remote work schedule is possible. Local candidates preferred. Regional candidates will be considered.
