Step back into the golden age of entertainment at Moab’s historic Star Hall, which opened in 1906 during the heart of the Tin Pan Alley era, as a vibrant community gathering place for dances, concerts, and theatrical productions. ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ celebrates that heritage with a program that bursts with theatrical flair, musical ingenuity, and rhythmic sparkle. Dancer Caleb Teicher, renowned for their electrifying stage presence and dynamic embodiment of American dance traditions, will weave movement throughout the evening — from tap-infused character vignettes to a specially crafted interpretive solo accompanying George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
About the venue: Historic Star Hall, built in 1906, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. Located in downtown Moab, the intimate size, excellent acoustics, and architectural charm make Star Hall an ideal setting for chamber music.
