Experience the convergence of chamber music in concert with the landscape on this signature music hike which features the premiere of a brand-new commissioned work by composer-in-residence Andrew Yee alongside Schubert’s Cello Quintet in C major–both scored for two violins, viola, and two cellos. Andrew’s piece, conceived in Moab’s red rocks is experienced for the first time ever while Schubert’s seminal quintet echoes the timelessness of the canyons.

About the venue: A guided scenic hike leads adventuresome concert-goers to a secluded canyon to enjoy music chosen to fit the setting. Among our most popular events, these scenic hikes offer unparalleled musical intimacy and engagement with the artists.
