NEW EVENT!
After hors d’oeuvres and a cocktail or beverage, we board the Queen, a low speed open air boat, which takes listeners upstream on the Colorado River. After a few miles, the boat will float silently while Festival musicians, including a grand piano, play a private sunset concert on the River, surrounded by canyon walls. A 7:30 pm return allows for an early evening or dinner following this magical experience. The program includes Debussy’s exquisitely subtle Cello Sonata and Shubert’s iconic “Trout” quintet, full of musical references to flowing water.
