Moab Music Festival's Winterlude Finale is a collaborative concert featuring the tour-de-force violist and composer Jessica Meyer (called "fierce and lyrical" by The Strad) and the Grammy Award-winning Akropolis Reed Quintet (oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bass clarinet, bassoon), including a combined performance of works by Meyer and two adaptations created expressly for the sextet by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon. Youth string students also take the stage alongside Jessica and Akropolis to share group compositions created over the week of Winterlude workshops.
