Valuing Safety

We are approaching our second Festival since the pandemic and know that we can keep our artists, staff, and audiences safe, with everyone following proper CDC and local health and safety guidelines and directives.

We were able to hold our pared down 2020 Music Festival. Our wide-open spaces in Moab allow us to social distance comfortably, while still enjoying our trademark world-class live-music experiences. Although we have expanded our offerings and some capacities, the 2021 Festival will still operate on many of the protocols instituted in 2020 such as outdoor concerts only, contactless ticketing, and no intermissions.

Our commitment to the security of our MMF family is our top priority, so when a ticket is purchased, Festival goers must agree to adhere to all safety procedures, which will be laid out in advance and enforced.

As one of the first festivals in the US to be able to proceed safely, and we will continue to adhere to those protocols that enabled you to enjoy music in concert with the landscape during the pandemic.

Some of the precautions we are taking across the Festival include:

  • Masks
  • Social Distancing
  • Paperless Ticketing
  • Contact Tracing
  • Limited Occupancy
  • Pre-Assigned Seating
  • Handwashing Stations Provided
  • Hand Sanitizer Provided
  • All food items will be prepackaged and individually contained
  • Boat & shuttles safety and cleanliness provided by partnering company

Because COVID19 and what we know about COVID19 is ever-changing, we will send out updates to safety protocols as we near the Festival and including one week before your concert.

The novel coronavirus COVID-19 has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. The virus is contagious and may cause serious illness or death, particularly to high risk individuals, who include, but are not limited to, elderly persons. Various Federal, State and local government agencies have issued guidelines in an effort to reduce the risk of infection. Moab Music Festival, Inc. (“MMF”) expects to go forward with the concerts following our county guidelines (Grand County). MMF will endeavor to comply with all applicable guidelines at each concert, whenever reasonably practical, but cannot guarantee that you or others attending will not become infected. When attending any event, all persons assume the risk that they might become infected with Covid-19 and that such infection may result in serious illness or death.  In order to attend any concert all persons must 1) acknowledge that they have voluntarily assumed that risk and 2) release any and all claims related to COVID 19, now existing or hereafter arising, against MMF, its officers, trustees, employees, contractors and agents.
